I picked up a nice backup camera with a 7" monitor for under $100 at BJ's club last fall.

Robert,

What ever happened to the large wood fixture you were making to layout your foam tail extension?

I'll bet a guy as resourceful as you are, could definitely make a foam tail extension.

Are you swinging by Wisconsin anytime soon? I could show you the finer points of working with foam and get you started on your own project.

Let me know if you would like to pursue this.

Jim.

Default Returning to original post...

I just replaced my spot dome lights and parking lights with LED. I shopped at LEDLight.com and am happy with their service. For the dome lights, I replaced them with a Red led "Super Flux 1 LED T10." The brightness is dimished due to using red vs. white, but I prefer using red for spot lighting in a moving vehicle. At night it should be bright enough.

For the parking lights, I chose the brightest I could find, "1.5 watt ultra high power T10." The attached photo shows the new lamp on the Right side, original on the Left. The brightness is not nearly as apparent as the new lamp is very bright. However, you can see that the new lamp is very white. (The photo is chopped from a single photo)
