key transponder/remote question
I need another spare key and remote, so I started looking at a combination key. A lot less to carry around.
I can find a Honda 2 button key with the right frequency for the remote (313.8 Mhz) but I can't tell if that key would have the right transponder frequency. Anyone know either what the frequency is, or what other keys would have the same frequency? Or does Honda simply use one transponder and it simpy has to be "recognized" by the car through programming?
The 2 button remote key seems to be from an 08-09 Civic and supposedly also supports the 05-07 Accord, Odyssey, Fit and CR-V.
Anyone else go this route?
