Well Peter kindly made me one of these chargers, I think the last one?

Completed the install last night which although was something totally new and a little concerning touching 'hot' stuff I enjoyed not having to tinker from under the bonnet.

I only had the opportunity to charge it for 9hrs before work but already Im very impressed. Firstly I reset the 12v and got a positive recal within 2 mins, which I guess was expected as the red light was on this morning on the charger.

Assist now in 3rd now feels like it did in 2nd.
Part throttle needs less throttle to maintain speed at sections of my usual drive, their is extra torque availble from the same level of assist/throttle request and Im seeing instant MPG not dip as much.

Plenty of low end grunt more like when I got the car and where billysan had done a pack strip and subpack charge. Definately far less background charging going on aswell although I will be fitting a CalPod switch as I got quite fond of motorway driving with no IMA.

Feels quick when going through the gears to make progress and lots of assist at the end of my trip has not dropped below 16 bars. I would have expected a recal after only half the demand I placed on the pack.

Very pleased Of course I'll be doing a longer charge when I get chance but 3000mAh or so i stuffed into the pack has yielded great results so far.

Thanks Peter and everyone else who has contributed to developing tools like this.

Yes Johnnys was the last of my chargers, thanks for the update. It needs a good 12-18hr charge to do a full balance though.

I'm glad others have stepped up to the mark and taken over the building of them. i now have some time for my other insight projects (Wink) I'm sure there is room in the market for Mike and Artric to prosper. Good luck.
