Default Super Brain 989 settings in autocycle mode

Hi. I'm getting ready to start using my new SB 989 to charge the subpacks and after reading for hours, I think I have gleaned most of the settings from various posts. Here's what I have so far as I advance through the Auto Cycle menu:
1) Mode: Auto Cycle
2) Profile: 1
3) Battery: NiMH
4) Cell: 6
5) mAH:6500?
6) Charge Amp: 5-6 with cooling, 3 without?
7) Discharge: Same as Charge setting?
Cut off-Peak mV: user's manual says 4-5 for initial charge?
9) Cut off V: .9 or 1 ?
10) Cut off temp: not necessary if not using temp probe because there is no place to put it?
11) Trickle-Amp: .35?
12) Time: Anywhere from 20-60 minutes...is this the rest time or trickle time, or both?
13) Cycle: 4?
14) Volt: is this a setting or a display mode?
Thanks for any help in this matter and sorry if I'm repeating questions, but I want to be sure about everything before I start the process. Thanks.

Perhaps you should wait for a more expert opinion, but here's the settings I used:

Discharge: 10A. Charge: as fast as you can without exceeding 110F on the temperature probe. For me, that was 8A.

Cutoff: as low as you can without a single cell suffering reversed polarity. I guess it depends on how well-balanced your pack is?

Time: I used 15min.

Cycles: Cycle the sticks until they stop improving. How about five blind cycles, make a spreadsheet, and see if there are any sticks you need to keep cycling?

Good luck, and congrats on DIY'ing your battery refurbishment. I found it rewarding to DIY. Please post your results when you finish with all 20 sticks.

Thanks for your input, Robert. I made a few adjustments and started stick #2. Stick 1 ended at 8.24v and 6832mAH. These numbers I hope are in the ballpark. This is certainly going to take awhile, but since I'm doing a head gasket replacement now, I have the time.

Don't go any lower than 0.9V/cell. Doing so increases the risk of cell reversal. It's still even possible at 0.9V.
