Screw Honda!

The local Honda dealer charged me $130. to tell me I need a new clutch and cat! Outrageous! The local independent shop would have told me that for free. Last time I go to a dealer. I was under the delusion they have some special insight into the Insight. I don't think so.

Yeah, don't go to the dealer. Bargains can not be had there.

Also, the dealer is an independent business. Screw Billy Fucillo, or AutoNation, or whomever, but not Honda.

most dealers do have an outrageous "diagnostics" fee. But they usually deduct that fee from the cost of the repair if you get the repair done from them, which again is going to be ridiculously expensive compared to other shops.
