Default Powering the BCM - Relay Clicking & Resetting

I finally got around to running 12v to the BCM today. It appeared to work great at first - letting the BCM run, and also powering peter's BCM gauge. The problem is that I could hear a relay click every x seconds, and then it would reset.

The problem with that, is that you have to start giving the charging power after the BCM gets power, or it will not be recognized, and powering the BCM is pointless. So when it resets, it no longer reads the charge going into the battery, defeating the purpose.

RobertSmalls pointed me toward the main Grid Charger thread for instructions on powering the BCM, but I read and couldn't find it.

I'm currently powering the BCM at the same connections that Peter's gauge connects to for power. This is the pink/blue wire for positive and black for negative.

I checked them for voltage, and they were putting about 11.5v, so that is what I gave them with an RS-25-12.

For reference, with only the BCM and gauge powered from this point, it takes about 4 watts, according to my Kill-A-Watt.

If there's already a solution on the forum, please point me toward it. I would very highly appreciate it. I've looked and looked and this has been looming over me for a while (I want to get it done and get my trunk back together - it's been apart for quite a while).

Thanks in advance for any help/insight!

on page 60 of the grid charger page, he talks about powering on the BCM. There are even pics of it. I am not sure if you have read that already?

Wow, exactly what I needed. I swear I looked through, don't know how I missed it.

If anyone has authority, please delete this thread!
