Default Scangauge OFF during FAS (MIMA)

I've installed a Scangauge II and it's off after 5 seconds after activating FAS of MIMA. It thinks the car has been shut down completly. It doesn't wake up after ending the FAS mode.
Workaround?

Set the fuel type to "Hybrid" and it won't do that. I FAS in both my Insight and my 5spd Elantra (both equipped with ScanGauges) and have no troubles as long as that mode is set. (It is a software flag telling the gauge to stay on if the engine is off but the key is still in the ON position.)

I'll have to try that as well.

My ScanGauge would turn off after the speed gets below 15 mph or so for an extended period of time.

Thanks for the tip.

Jim.
