Default Need Hose for hot air mod

I installed hot air mod about 10 months ago. The hose I used was not very sturdy; made of black paper and aluminum foil. After these few months, the hose has several holes in it.

Anyone have any ideas about where I can get heavier hose? All aluminum would be nice.

I used the the same hose but wrapped it in aluminum tape. It has held up for nearly two years. I fabricated an attachment to the cat converter by cutting round hole in its shield and pulling an exhaust pipe adapter through it.

I recommend aircraft silicon scat tubing, it will last longer than any other type of tubing and it is resistant to temperature extremes while being flexible. It's worth the extra $$.

Is the correct Inside Diameter (ID) = 2" ?

I measured mine about a month ago in hopes of coming across a flexible pipe, but no luck yet. Also thanks for posting up, it would have taken me quite some time to figure out what would work best.

I don't know, you will have to measure again to determine the correct size of hose to use.
I don't have an Insight yet.
