Body & Interior repair questions - installing seats

Greetings guys!

This is the third time i posted new thread in this club. However now im here to throw some Body & Interior repair questions with regards to the seats of my insight 2001. That was the last month when the seats barred down so i needed to replace it. I had already purchased seats from a local junkyard. see the image below:



Price was $150 including the buckles and the cover. The seats were slightly inclined, which I like, and feel snug and comfortable. They're also noticeably lighter in weight. Everthing was fine not only to mention that it won't fit on my car as being tested. The dealer says its for the insight cars but how could thing thing happened? Any suggestions from you insight owners? suggestions? Should i return this one to the junkyard or could do something in order for it to got installed? Thanks for any help!

They do not appear to have the mounts or controls for a second generation Insight. They don't have the same seat design either.

Perhaps you would get a better answer posting this in the first generation forum, especially if you have 2001 model.

Thanks...anyway i already resolved the issue with the help of my buddy....Just an update: he drilled a small holes just under the seats and that's it they greatly fit on my car...
