JoeIR, how will the new Swift springs effect your alignment numbers?

Hi,

I was wondering what people thought was a reasonable price point on a set of rear shocks and front struts. I am in Salt Lake City and Pfadt Race Engineering has their shop here. They have a shock dyno and have made many custom Corvette street and race shocks. I know the owner Aaron and was thinking about seeing what they could do for a custom set for our cars. If I had a better idea of what most folks thought was a reasonable price point, I could see if that price might be worthwhile for them to spend the time on making a few sets for our cars.

Are people looking for adjustable shocks/struts or just a well damped street set?

Thanks, Mark.

I am interested in a group buy for springs and any other suspension improvements. Love the car but the ride leaves alot to be desired. Thanks.

I'm sorry, but I couldn't wait and bought factory springs/shocks front & shocks for back of car: total including install: $1514 including "bushings". I can't do any labor; must rely on dealer or trusted installer. Still, keep me posted on progress.

Thanks,

Henri

Try some of these to stop the bottoming-out aspect of the bad ride:
Energy Suspension 9.9103 Bump Stops - 99103

They'll give you about an inch and half more travel. Here's a pict comparing the stockers to the Energy Suspension bumps:

I you are worried about bottoming out, install the Matiz springs on the rear. A lot cheaper than anything around.
