Yeah, I am interested....Wow! THREE battery pulls/installs...amazing for sure! All insights, or did you toss in a civic as a bonus? Soon as my new battery is in, I will become a lifetime member also! So, PM me.....I am not computer savy...but I intuit that this means Personal email or something so I will try to contact you soon. Thanks.

PM means private message, it is a function of the forum, the link is in the top right by your user name, you don't have to be a lifetime member for it to work. It is used because you shouldn't ever openly post your phone number online, ad bots search for stuff like that. At any rate, PM me your phone number and I will give you a call.

Yeah, I stand in the spare tire well also, then just hump it out like interestedguy does, just hard for a few seconds...

Anybody want some help in Tucson, let me know.

I believe they charge $200 or so.

Actually, you want this one: Honda Insight (2000-2006) - Battery Replacement instead.

And we don't say to take out the seat, just slide it up and tilt it forward.

Honda Insight (2000-2006) - Hybrid Battery Removal

hybrid battery repair has a really nice step by step with pictures, that is what I used the first time and I referred to it the other two times.

The only thing I did differently was instead of removing the passenger seat and using a second person for the battery removal I removed the spare tire and stood in the well, lifted the battery turned 180 degrees and set it onto a chair I had pushed up against the rear bumper.

Still would be willing to help if you need it.
