dear all I am abit confused about what clips too order for the windscreen
As far as my knowledge of the diagram

Enlarged Image

There are only 4 clips to order am I right? Item 5x2and 6x2

6 PFKL1013541 FASTENER A, WINDSHIELD £7.26 (€7.99) ($11.62) 002
7 PFKL1013559 FASTENER B, WINDSHIELD £4.49 (€4.94) ($7.1 002

Is it because during the removal they are gonna break some from the trim? If so which rivets should I order from the eBay links ? Thank you.

Here are two pics from the manual.

As far as I remember you need the below plastic clips for the two A pillar trims

www.solarvan.co.uk/insight/RoofMolding1.jpg

A x 14
B x 2
C x 2
F x 2

D & E can be reused if bent gently back into place. Also they are riveted on which is a pain anyway.

For the Cowl you need

www.solarvan.co.uk/insight/Cowl.jpg

A x 7
C x 6
D x 1

Make sure whoever does the job for you has them all before they start, or you will be cursing!! They can be ordered from Ling Honda or your local dealer. I suggest you also look at the e-bay clips and if any are suitable get those by all means. They are not cheap so be warned!! I can't gaurantee you will need them all but it's best to be prepared.

I think they were over £70 when I bought some. I have heard of people using silicone to stick it back on.

None of the clips in that pic are anything to do with the windscreen on an Insight.
