Rear Honda 'H' logo

This may be a silly question but here it goes..

My rear Honda H is very faded and dull looking... is there any cheap way to replace it, or does the whole rear glass need replaced?

I would love mine to look brand new like this

The rear Honda emblem is simply a decal, believe it or not. Therefore, replacement of the vaunted 'H' is as easy as pie my friend. Simply scrape off the old emblem with a fine razor blade (exact-o knives work wonders) and GINGERLY scrape away the old decal. Use goo-gone or a similar product to rid the area of any remaining gunk. Then I would use soap and water to wash the area.

You can buy this Honda emblem (OEM part #75701-S2H-000ZA) from the dealership for $11.78 or $8.30 at such discounted OEM Honda parts sites as hondapartseast.com.

I was actually embarrassed to ask this same question so I am glad you asked it first lol ... I want the H emblem too!

I'm just an anal "perfectionist" (even when I try to do my best it's never perfect lol) but when I do it I'm gonna make sure I put it in the exact same place as the one removed. If I remove it totally without a trace... I might put it on a little to the left or right or just a smudge.
