Thanks for the info. Good to see you keepin on with it.

I put 195/45s on 15x6.5s on mine. I think i lost about 2% of my mpg and gained about 50% in cornering. Definitely lost more in acceleration than mileage (went from 22lbs to 32lbs per corner). My motivations are different from many Insight owners, but i really like the broad spectrum vs many other cars. Not too many other kinds of cars see the variety of mods (mpg, aero, full electric, diesel swap, turbos, 9000 rpm, cornering, etc etc) that the 1g insight has seen.

Thought I'd update this thread to let folks know that I have sold my Insight, but I still have these modified wheels. I'll let them collect dust for now, but if anybody local has some relatively new RE92s and wants to do some A-B-A testing with them, I'm still interested to see how they stack up. The skinnies still have a bit less than 1000 miles on them and the rolling resistance seems a heck of a lot better than when they were brand new, probably on par with the bald Hakkas but hard to say for sure.
