Default passenger side water leak

Whenever it rains hard or i wash my car...it seems the passenger side seat always gets wet and has temporary stains until i clean it.
Is this is a common problem for Insights? I tried sealing it before where I thought the leak was, but it didn't fix the problem

It's unfortunately a fairly common problem. Just do a search, there's lots on it.

"wet seatbelt" etc.

There is a clip under the trim that runs up the side of the windshield and to the back of the door. The clip has a rubber gasket and is right above the seat belt mechanism. You probably need to remove the trim piece and replace the last big clip with one that has a new rubber gasket. It is just a bad design.
