This is the reason I ended up using the CVT MCM in my MT car:

A sacrifice to the Insight Gods... With pics!

When the mcm from a cvt is run in a mt does it through a code in the ecm.

Nope. It behaves exactly the same as far as I can tell, which did seem a little odd to me - why are there different part numbers?

But no codes or anything.

Thanks for the info i happen to have an extra mcm from a cvt cool may have saved a few bucks.

Well the mcm is not the problem looks like it maybe the motor power unit.any sugestions?

Bummer. The MCM probably would have been cheaper..

Not sure... I would try and source a used one and drop it in.... I don't think you're going to be able to find individual parts for it.
