Default Combustion chamber image

Hi All,

Can anyone direct me to a good quality image of the 1G cylinder head combustion chamber?

Thank you

Trevor

Interesting, the cylinder on the right seems pretty clean while the center cylinder looks pretty gummed up. What was the condition of this engine when you took it part? Head gasket bad maybe, leaking into center cylinder?

That's a picture of a head that was on eBay. I use it to show what the indexed plugs look like.

The carbon deposits would either be from running rich or from burning oil. Probably from burning oil in this case.

Notice the way the spark plugs are indexed, I thought they would be facing the intake valve, they must be Honda plugs because they both face the same way.

They are, they're facing the non-VTEC intake valve.

More images....Great, thanks.

Yes I honed right in the position of those plugs. With them being indexed as part of the specification. I would (in the image shown) to have expected the ground electrode to have been at 12 o'clock.
