Thanks Jeff for all your good info. Yes, the A03 BCM is a rare bird on the spreadsheet. I think that it must be part of the "difference" set between the 2000-2004 and the 2005-2006. I have spotted several items in the service manual which make specific reference to the later cars. It would take a another spreadsheet to cover them all, but the BCM is clearly different.

Though I can pull down numbers in excess of 100MPG under the right conditions, I think that my driver development deserves better. I have my eye on a 2001 that I think is going to come my way. At the price, it will become a project car from which I hope to extract some record level numbers.

Hard for me to say, unfortunately. I know it is helping, and I love my BetterBattery, but prior to getting it I had no IMA function at all - I bought the car with a bad battery. Once the 2000 Insight arrives on Saturday, I'll be able to drive an OEM pack equipped car for a few weeks and hopefully get a better idea of just how much more power the BB has compared to a good functioning OEM battery pack.
