So I've been working on an Elegant FAS solution, because I don't like the two major ways out there currently:
1) Cut spark by relaying power to the IGN coils.
2) Cut fuel by relaying power to the fuel injectors.
The method I'm looking at, will be a plug-n-play installation into the factory harness, and it will operate by COMMANDING an ECM-controlled autostop. This means that you don't get any of the oil/battery lights up on the dash when it happens, like you do with the current solutions. To the driver, it will appear just like a normal autostop, except that you'll be able to command it at high-speed.
I have the prototype installed in my car, and I'm about to test it on my ride home from work today.
If it goes as planned, I'll develop a full plug-n-play harness for it, and do a production run for all of you.
I would estimate cost in the $50+shipping territory, with final pricing to be determined when a BOM and such is worked out.
Who's interested?

I'm interested and am keen to support other IC developers so I'll have one even if it's just to fiddle with LOL
Keen to see videos and test results good luck.

Poor Cobb, if only he knew he really wanted a 1st gen when he bought his 2nd gen. The chances of this working with the 2nd gen are likely nil.
As far as this making an EV mode, negatory. The engine will restart if conditions are met, like pushing the gas pedal, running out of brake boost vacuum, etc.

I was able to get the AutoStop light on the dash cluster to illuminate on my command, but the engine didn't stop running.
Two things:
1) The engine wouldn't autostop of its own accord, since it was too cold. Perhaps this is partly responsible.
2) I have another method that I think will work, but its more involved than this method.
To be totally honest, if it was as simple as this first test, I would've been amazed nobody else discovered it first.
My running theory is that the climate control computer is the one making the decision whether or not to autostop, and then communicates that to the ECM over ENGRDY and HTRS lines. I can't think of any other reason the CCS needs to have the vehicle speed sensor running to it.
I watched ENGRDY this afternoon on my lunch, and observed it low with key off, key on it goes high, and when autostop happens, it goes low again.
First test involved simply grounding the ENGRDY line. I knew it was an output from the CCS to the ECM, and I knew it was a 5V signal with active low from the service manual.
Grounding it causes the AS light on the cluster to illuminate, but doesn't stop the engine, so there's obviously more to it than that.
Time for theory #2, I think.

If Honda only increased the cargo capacity from 400 lbs to 800 lbs. I use to weigh 400 lbs. I do not know about you guys, but I use to own a metro and rode in swifts that the door would drop an inch when you open it as if the car was bowing in 2.
I know many of you have successfully over loaded your cars with no problems, but if you are 6 foot 2 and have to turn sideways to go through most doors and compliant about metal fatigue, they aren't going to accept the claim as a design fault.
Sounds like you are making progress. I would want the line cut from the HVAC to the IMA system. Better yet, a switch so I can choose to have the engine on or off.
Ive been tempted to put a switch inline with the fuel pump fuse or injectors. I am guessing it will lead to an EV like mode if you are moving.
What does the IMA system do if the engine is difficult to start or will not fire? Will it spin it for 10 seconds, then call it quits?

Good try Racer26, the problem is that if ANY of the required conditions for AS are not met it won't happen.
