Need Walk through for a K20A / 6 speed trans swap, thanks.
I'd appreciate a step by step walk through along with a parts list of everything that's needed to complete a k20A / 6 speed lsd trans swap. No rush, just want to go over every detail as I plan to do this eventually.
I'd be surprised if someone has actually documented it. It would be like 100 pages long. This isn't just a simple procedure.
Good luck. I think you're on your own. Maybe find a shop that does them or has done them and talk to them?

Bought/Sold/Dismantled six Insights so far, and every single one has been silver . I want a Citrus to keep for myself
Im actually within a week away from knowing weather or not Im going to be embarking in the mission that is swapping a K into my Insight. Once I have my front end back on and car started I will know if the Insight is still in decent drivable condition... if it is, then I will just prep it for a complete paint job/color change and finish it up aesthetically (painting it matte pearl white) but if it isn't and the engine also took a crap from the hit then I will definitely be swapping in my 06 RSX-S swap into it...
Right now, I'm re-doing the inside of the headlights and considering retrofitting some projectors into them (would have to find the projectors within the next couple of days while my sealer comes in to close up the headlights) and also need some info on the Ground Control coil-overs to get the right stance on the little booger.
Here is a preview of the headlight as its coming along... not sure weather to leave it this dark or go with a matte gunmetal?

Not sure the wiring is quite as simple though, although I'm a tad tempted to do a little more research . . .

Looks a little tight. Nice to see that there are actually aftermarket parts supporting this swap.
If I ever go down a road like this, I think I would rather do the mid-engine Insight, except use a built up S2000 engine instead of the V6. A 250HP, 9k RPM, RWD Insight.... Mmmmm.

Eli, you have many Insights to choose from..... If I could get me a cheap silver it would be the perfect sleeper, one day you drive for mileage, the next day blow someone doors off
