Default Looking for Gen-1.0 Catalytic Converter Dimensions

Hello,

Based on some research on here I decided to attack my P0420 with an "OEM" replacement catalytic converter, and given my baby has 252,000 on her, I decided to do the upper and lower. The cats look good, but the sizes seem off. The upper appears correct, but the lower is too small and the resonator won't reach.

I am guessing that it is sized for the 2000 year cat, although it has a port for the 2nd O2 sensor (mine is an 04).

If someone knows or is willing to check, I'd like to know either:

1) tip to tip length of the 2000 cats or

2) the longer "arm" of the triangle. My cat is about 29" on the straight shot parallel to the ground.

Your knowledge will be exceptionally helpful!

Thank you.

Jeff - your correct response should have been that you just went into the garage, took them both off just for the original poster, and it is a simple matter to remove both in less than an hour.....

After staring at my rusted cats for nearly 3 months side by side with the new ones, I think it's time to plunge in. I will check that the O2s fit and get the earlier resonator/muffler assembly and see how it goes!

Thanks for the help!
