Default HONDA OBDII DTC FLASH CODES, DIAGNOSTICS & LINKS for INSIGHT 2000-2006

I've drawn together OBDII info into a Google Docs spreadsheet with links tied to Honda Insight first generation OBDII codes where listed in IC posts; Flash Codes where available for MIL, IMA, and HVAC; the DTC diagnosis' listing; repair manual references, and could likely list a few other columns with user input. It's a work in progress I hope will lend itself to other forms of presentation including perhaps direct links to described items featuring the many pics associated in locations from the manuals; owner comments; direct links to specific IC posts or more. Your comments and suggestions would be appreciated.

HONDA OBDII DTC FLASH CODE & LINKS for INSIGHT 2000 - 2006

Basically, it's some available text information from what's already out there, formatted and placed into cells and tied via links information to other aspects of the diagnostic trouble code.
No doubt there could be some errors so please advise if so.

A true relational data base setup would likely be much better than a simple spreadsheet here, and hopefully it may be possible for others to rework this data with links in the cells into a more modern and better application if so desired.

Not sure how to take it forward so here it is as a simple reference source to save a little time for searches.

I hope it's found useful both for both when a code pops up and in greater understanding of the vehicles function and potential.
Thanks to the many IC posters: past, present, and future whose contributions may be added.

Please note: As yet, the original documents and info in the first gen 'Repair Manual [ the original .zip files that retain working 'index' and 'contents' text link formatting, complete with tie-in's to schematics and text to pictures of component locations tables and figures], are still possibly the best way to explore the 'repair' section. Insighter's are urged to download the originals to retain the index and contents' text links.
fwiw: The internal links within the original pdf format don't as yet persist in a copy using google docs from what I could tell.

_______
..how the spreadsheet was done?
...basic 'copy&paste' .pdf text to word processing en mass; mainly process text globally in the doc with 'find&replace all' to eliminate most carriage returns or page headers etc with unique temporary text placeholders; insert multiple tabs within the heap of data using characteristic text markers segments found in the original tables; form text tables, then 'paste-special' into a spreadsheet, and fiddle with formats etc.Data processed falls into general shape in stages, then the combined data can be added manually as need be in additional columns, ... in most cases keyed to a DTM. Enjoy!

________

EDIT: Apologies for the delay in including the DTC codes missed as noted below. Belated thanks to TN Engineer for pointing out the omission as seems I missed P1799 P1850 and P1851 when stalled up at that point where it appeared the CVT diagnostic file is so large as not to display a preview. The file must be downloaded to view as things are now.

Perhaps the newer Google Drive, slated to replace Google Docs will have more capacity.

For corrections please PM me as it looks like I missed the subscription notice!

Default Code to add

This is a great interactive resource and I feel I have just struck gold in finding it, and the help it has given me in diagnosing a problem I had which was that I had plugged in the Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor incompletely without it clicking. Due to this the contact between the prongs must have been smaller, and consequently the total resistance reading higher, triggering a P0113 trouble code. One other code that I had which doesn't seem to be in this spreadsheet, but is most likely due to the same cause in this case is P1799. From the little I gather this code comes from the Transmission Control Module (TCM) when there is a IAT malfunction. The TCM only exists on CVT models. Why the electronics controlling the CVT would need information on the outside air temperature does not occur to me, but the bottom line is I was wondering if you could perhaps add a row to your spreadsheet for trouble code P1799. Thanks again for putting together this very useful tool in the first place.
