No, they are not Lithium Iron Sulphate. It's a 40 cells and the Honda specs are 144v 4.5Ah. So it is a lithium-ion cell but the chemistry that GS Yuasa is using is something I can't find. 20kw output.

If they only have forty cells in the new Civic Lithium pack for 144v then they must have a 3.6V nominal voltage per cell which means they are not Lifepo4. The A123 pouch cells are 3.2V nominal.

They are unlikely to be LiPo in my view as they are too volatile, unpredictable and a fire hazard IMHO.
I expect we will find out in due course. Possibly manganese as mentioned.
