Just installed a Fumoto F-106N on my car. Unfortunately, I forgot to take pics.

Do you have a link for a good partial grill block?

What is user CP? I live in KS.

Thanks for the help.
User CP is User Control Panel. Look in the blue bar menu near top of page. This is where you set up your avatar, signature, email preference etc...It has become a tradition to ask new members to identify their location. You don't have to get specific, KS is fine.

JIME has a nice partial grill block. I will try to find link or pics.

Thanks, I was wondering what size I would need. My remaining question on this drain plug is, has anyone investigated how far up the threads stick out in the oil pan? My concern is that if the Fumoto plug is not flush with the pan there will be oil and sediment that won't get drained with the dirty oil. Does anyone know if it does stick out above inside the oil pan or is it flush (or recessed)?

The plug is horizontal on the pan - you drain from the side, not the bottom. The fumoto valve probably raises the level up by a few mm.

Here's pics linked of FUMOTO F-106N installed on the car with cutaway view inset. [plus another view of valve installed. ] The ball valve's handle is conveniently positioned for opening reaching down from the top right back side of the engine, [angled slightly] with the handle not pointing [directly] down when closed.

Funny, mine is a mirror image of yours. The handle section is pointed to the right (and ever so slightly up).

First four pics are of a member's front partial grill block and full custom underbelly shielding fabricated from sheet aluminum.

Next picture is from an older post of another member with the Honda part numbers for the front under engine shields. Did you check if you had these on your car?

One has the option of removing the metal plate that's attached to the oil pan. If it's removed, the Fumoto valve's threads engage with more oil pan threads which seems important to me. I removed the plate which resulted in the orientation of my Fumoto valve being as AbCaRed00 described. But if this plate is not removed, the orientation of the Fumoto valve lever would probably be different.
