Default 2 door Civic Hybrid

Anybody that knows how to "paint" photos?

Picture a Civic Hybrid with "skirts" on the rear wheels and body changed to a 2 door instead of 4.

Front lower air scoop should be narrowed.

And of course a "turbo" installed.

Am I thinking of a new project?

How about buying a second-hand Insight and replacing the engine and IMA pack with an engine and IMA pack from a Civic Hybrid? Plus turbo? Now that would be a project!

Well, we now know the K series engine will bolt into the Insight engine compartment, so I would guess the Civic's I series engine would fit as well. Might need a slightly modified engine mount but that's pretty easy to get fabricated. Only problem would be to locate a totaled Hybrid Civic for a decent price that still has a functioning drive train and IMA pack. It's not a matter of if it can be done just how much money you have to get it done.
