Default Insight not designed for speaker upgrade

This car is def. not designed for any speaker upgrade at all. I have to take the car to audio excellence, because there is plastic behind the rear speaker, and it is def. way too hot out here in florida to work on a car outside.

Be careful, that plastic is to protect IMA piping which runs right there. You might want to throw the breaker just in case to be on the safe side.

no. the passenger side is a black plastic that is shaped for the stock speaker. driver side is the orange plastic for the battery.

Arsenic - yours is a newer model that has the rear speakers correct? If at all possible could you take some pics?

I'd really appreciate it as I will be doing the same shortly.
Thanks

"not designed for any speaker upgrade at all" is untrue. Upgrades of the front speakers are trivial.
