Default HP Booster Chip

This is on Ebay. Item # 791491199. Claims to cause the computer to think the intake sensor is recieving cooler air thereby allowing it to put out more power. Claims a 25% increase in horsepower. Got to be a joke, right?

That's right up there with the pills you add to water to make gasoline!

It probably does not help your gas mileage much. Colder air in the intake (even fictionally) will cause the engine to run more rich and reduce gas mileage. Hot air yeilds less power but more efficiency.

I think the goal was to make it run rich, which can produce more power. However, I doubt you would make 25 percent more power.

It's just a resistor. Some cars it has a significant effect (those that are way lean from the factory). But those are few and far between. Others it does not. Either way, it's a big waste of money and a 2 cent resistor that can be purchased from any electronics store.

They'll sell a million of 'em. Just not to us...

Now, b1shmu63, I do have some dehydrated instant water tablets that I can sell... for a very attractive price... Anytime you need cool, fresh water, just take the tablets, and add... add... ...excuse me, my phone's ringing, I'll be riiiiight back...
