Default Thermal Evaluation of Honda Insight Battery Pack

I found (by accident) this document (Thermal Evaluation of Honda Insight Battery Pack) on the web. It evaluates the 2001 Insight battery. It's very technical, and therefore, I have little clue what it says or means. Since I am new to this site, it may be old news to you, but thought I would post it here in case anybody was interested.

If, by chance, somebody can make any sense of it, it would be interesting to get a summary of what it means.

Most interesting part was independent confirmation that the 936Wh pack cycles between 20% to 80% SOC, so actual available energy is 562Wh (enough for 3mins40s at maximum 10kW assist).

Wow. 3 mins, 40 seconds. That's a lot higher than I thought it would be. Mine usually forces into a recal after a half-minute run at only partial assist. It does look like it's very well done and correct. They bring up probable problems with the cooling/heating of the battery in extreme environments and they prove the fact that the Insight doesn't have the power at very low temps.
