Default Boston Speakers

Hi, I'm Elias....
Have a question...has anyone used Boston SL 60's in their insights. I have read all the yahoo and Insight forums. I want something new besides the Infinity 6002's. Help if you have any new speakers that drop in without a big to do.
Thanks all. Elias

I have Infinity Kappa's that have a top mount depth of 2 3/16". Those Boston's have a top mount depth of 2 7/16". I had to do major cutting for mine to fit so unless you want to make a spacer out of MDF, your out of luck. I'm actually pretty sure you'd have to make a spacer because the window almost clips the speaker magnet on mine; and yours is even more deep.

Thanks for the reply...you actually said more than the Boston Rep! I know we are all interested in our cars...but I find it sad that a rep can't tell me what might and might not fit.
Thanks for the reply...
Elias
