Rick, please post the # for the plug. I would like to have it also. I did a search for rear, wiper, plug and found it was for a 96 civic but no part#.
Thanks

Sorry for the delay's. I had foregotten what I did with the file I kept with the part numbers. Turns out it was on my old old laptop. Anyways, part numbers:
Plug (nut): 90301-SR3-000 *Note, I had these backwards, fixed now
Bolt (optional): 90156-SH3-000
I honestly would recommend not getting their bolt as it's way too long and you'll end up having to use a fat stack of washers to make it work. Just get the plug which I think is ~$15 and take it to a hard ware store and find a suitable bolt. I believe it's a 6mm bolt. You'll use the stock rubber seal that goes around the wiper arm. Then get two washers so that when you tighten the bolt it puts pressure on the rubber seal
When dissassembling the area around the rear wiper there are some externally visable clips with a small circle in the center of them. If you press this little center in it will release the clip without breaking it.

Well, it rains here, but I hate the rear-wiper. As long as you keep the glass clean, the water will bead off in the back.
I used a plug from Civic VX (these never came w/ rear-wiper). I believe what Rick has put up is probably something similar. A bil metal plug/nub. Then, you just get a big washer & a bolt to seal it.
I'll have the pic later tomorrow.

You guys are right. As long as your rear windshield is clean, and definitely if it's been RainX'd, no water drops will build up there, they just fall away.
I noticed that while driving through rain, the rear windshield was nearly all clear, while the little rear/vertical window (a la CRX) was covered in droplets. (dead air there)

With good aerodynamics, often the rear window is pretty much clean except when you slow down. It's nice to have the rear wiper, but it sure isn't used as much as the front ones.
