Factory CD Player Compatability?

I am trying to find a Honda CD player for my 2001 and I have heard that S2000 CD players work. There are a few others on Ebay that look like they would work. Such as one from an Odessey or this one:

The non-S2000 ones go for about 50$ cheaper. The question is, will these fit, or is there anyway to find out? Thanks

I have personally seen an S2000 (02) deck in an Insight (01). As long as the plug and mounts are the same I see no reason why it wouldn't work.

I have o5 insight. After 600mi I replaced the CD player with an Alpine.


have you an interest in a 05 stock Cd player?

I also have 4 stock speakers.

The point is this give a donation to my ventshade and pay shipping they are yours...

My Insight came with a Honda CD changer in the back from the dealer, not knowing anything about audio: Are there any mp3 CD changers that will mate up to the factory deck? I'd like either mp3 CD or mp3 DVD capability, without loosing the factory deck (colors match and etc ).

Thanks for the offer on the stereo stuff, but I got the message too late.
I just received a CD player from a 2001 Odessey and everything matches up perfectly. About the MP3 question, I saw CD players that do hook-up to Honda stereos on Ebay. They are controlled from the stock deck. The problem is that they are designed to go into the coin tray in Civics, Integras, etc. The Insight does not have one, but it does seem like you could make a custom mount, and you would keep the tape player too.
