Default Is my LMPG reading gone forever?

Hello All:

I bought my red CVT in May with 24K miles on her and re-set the LMPG, (it dissappeared completely from the odo display). I now have 26.9K miles and it has not "returned". I've searched past threads and the manual, yet can't seem to figure out how to get it back. I thought it would return automatically after XX miles of driving? (No I have not re-set it again since.) Your expert input is appreciated.

Instead of resetting the Lifetime display, you may have selected to hide it. See page 55 and 56 here:

If you only did a reset, it sould have displayed a new lifetime mileage very quickly..

As someone who had the LMPG actually reset by a dealer, it sounds like yours is just hidden.

I thought I already suggested that on Sep 14th...Even gave you a link to the online manual and page numbers to look at.

Cool! An Insight owner in Miami. You'll see dozens of high-end Porches, BMWs ect. here everyday, but only see an Insight every couple of weeks. Good to see that you discovered your problem with the lmpg.
