Default Normal when cold?

Since it is in minus celcieus, I lost 1l/100km. It goes on the hiway from 3.2 to 4.2. Is it normal? I think it does not enter lean mode when it is cold.

cold is bad! do a search on warm air intake and radiator block. they both help, but a nice warm day helps the most!
