Default The UPS and downs of a trip

Hey all,

I got this program/online app from the EVDL. It shows the elevations between 2 points.

Here is alink to the trip from my house in 3 Points to downtown Tucson.
Geocontext-Profiler ? create a topographic profile

As you can see it is a downhill tirp, starting out at 2950 ft (actually 3120 ft) and ending up at 2423 ft. It also gives the distance traveled 159,976 ft or 30+ miles. Your cursor becomes a car so you can see where you are on the route, and there is a line below that also shows where you are in the UPS and downs of the route.

It gives so other figures - Uphill: 12.8 mi42% Downhill: 17.5 mi58% Denivelation: 612 ft.

You can also figure out the slope, in my case it is .3%

Very interesting and lots of fun to play with.

Hey Rush,

I checked out the geocontext site. Very interesting. But with me being unskilled with moving info from one place to another, I managed to lose my travel profile a couple times.

Any help on 'how to' would be appreciated.

eg: How do I save a profile? How do I transfer it? Embed?!?

..Bob
