'07 Civic Hybrid Cruise Control? Canada?

I've been reading the US and Canadian Honda websites. They could be wrong, but the Canadian Civic Hybrid lists factory cruise control while the US car does not. Can anyone confirm this either way?

Is it possible the Insight never got cruise because of some way California measures smog? I seem to remember that Canada never got the CVT Insight?

We think the Insight was originally intended to have cruise control, I recall someone saying an early version of the service manuals showed cruise control wiring. The probably reason it never got it was due to costs. The Insight was loosing them money anyways so they probably decided to cut it for that reason.
