Interesting....particularly the followon comments on the lack of hatchbacks in Nort America..

Honda apparently has been convinced for several decades now that hatchback and econo car are forbidden...too bad, after 6 Civic HB and one Integra HB, Honda lost me for years until the unfortunate HCH. That car drove me to Prius, an now the Insight II

Had the Insight II been a 4dr sedan, like Civic. I would not have even considered it..

That sedan looked sweet. I guess you never know how much of that will carry over but it looks like they've got the right idea.

I'm sure we still can't expect to get the Type R but that's life.

asked my dealer bout it but i cant get a good enough deal, the msrp is too much. now im leaning towards the prius instead, with a 54 mpg not bad for a new hybrid. got better parts than the ol civic parts.
