Default Hydrogen Based Economy and Transport

I do not think of Hydrogen as a Fuel, I tend to think of it as a storage material.

You don't find Hydrogen in nature as you may mine for Coal or pump Crude Oil, you have to create Hydrogen by using an energy source such as Electricity to seperate Water into Hydrogen and Oxygen, (Electrolysis), The Hydrogen is then fed into the Fuel Cell where is recombined to Water and Electricity to propel the vehicle.

The Electrolysis Process is energy intensive, requiring the consumption of considerable amounts of fossil fuel.

Looking at the pictures of the battery and the control electronics on the top, on first glance, it looks the same as the I2 to me. They might not be but if they used the same equipment it would reduce their costs by using the same thing in two cars and also make things a bit simpler for battery refurbishment.

No worries, I'll be gearing up for the CR-Z in 2016 or so, just like the 2010 Insight. I'm already getting 2006 Civics and 2005 Accords dribbling in among the 2000-2006 Insights and 2003-2005 Civics.
