I may need someone to ship me a US HCH1 Ecm and plugs and a foot of wiring that goes into it to do more research. I'll send a free OBDIIC&C pcb/plug/switch to whoever sends me one.

Fingers crossed for when you have had your updates.

Calpod please ask them exactly what has been updated ecm/mcm and to what version etc what problems is it supposed to cure.

Please all note your ecm and mcm versions for the spreadsheet which now has a sheet for the HCH1

I've no idea I don't have one, sure someone else will chime in.

it's on page 11-5 of the Service Manual just behind the glove box compartment.

Following on from my last post on the OBDIIC&C main thread I need someone in the US to send me an HCH1 ECM preferably one that's been updated to the latest software version and the connectors and a foot or so of wire that plug into it.

It will be very difficult to make much progress on the US version without this assistance from those interested over the pond.
I will refund the basic $60 cost of the OBDIIC&C to anyone willing to help in this matter.

If I weren't so cash-strapped at the moment...

I did find one pretty cheap here:
2004 Used Honda Civic Electric Engine Control Module - ECM Genuine OEM LOW MILEAGE Guaranteed Part.

But I don't know about the store, and it says "California," which I'm afraid means "no lean burn."

Also: none of the ones online have the wiring harness.

Someone in the US must live near enough to a breakers yard to root something out connectors and all.
I'm happy to fund the ECM itself upto $100 but it must come with the connectors and a foot or so of wire.
I'm putting the ball in the court of the potential US owners to help. It's what this site is all about

It seems like a late HCH1 updated ecm with lean burn would be best if that's available.

Ill give it a good English try. You mean like this, ebay item 190639093668 ? Where is this located in the car? Is it under the dash, inside the IPU?

Most wrecking yards I go to are pick it your self and many people are careless at how they pick/ Its not uncommon to see connectors missing under the hood of a car. I believe they remove all batteries, IPUs, etc from hybrid vehicles in addition to spare tires, jacks and after market radios.

I typically go to grab geo metro and suzuki swift parts for my friends of another hobby who cant afford or do not trust hybrids and their damn batteries.

Only problem is... probably doesn't have the wiring harness... only way you're getting that is probably at a u-pull-it type place.

That's a good price though... cheapest one I found was $130.
