Default Hondata logger/tuner for crz

FlashPro CR-Z

Wow... I contacted them to see if they have it for the Insight 2.

Anyway to find the ecm number of the I2? Where exactly is it located?

Got a response back from Hondata, they have no plans to make one for the Insight.

That sucks.

The CRZ and 2nd gen Insight should use the same protocol. I'd say it's possible that it would work in the 2nd gen too? No idea really though.

Edit: Oh, I guess it doesn't read any IMA data anyway.

It has the dohc engine or at least 16 valves like the civic where we have 8 valves. I am sure we would get lucky and some of it would work, however the tunes would be out the window. We also have the DSi dual ignition where the plugs can be fired together or apart from each other. We may get lucky and end up working with a programmer for the Fit/Jazz that carried that engine for a few years vs the crz.

I wonder if it allows any tune of the IMA system vs just the engine?

Maybe we can do a group buy and pass one around to see what it can do? Id like to just tweek it for mpg vs 0-60.

Got word back from hondata again. The tuner does nothing for the IMA, just tunes the engine.
