Default Grid charging/balancing the Honda Accord Hybrid

My wife is gone for the week. She told me to NEVER touch her car... So it is a 2006 Accord Hybrid and the IMA light is not on but the SOC is doing recals in both directions. I want to give it a good charge and balance. Anybody have pictures or advice as to the charge points on the pack? I have a 750ma charger.

Should probably wait until it's out of warranty?

No idea though. First thought is that it's probably similar to the same year Civic.

I don't know the voltage or anything though, should probably find out if your Insight grid charger will be compatible?....

Says 144 volt on the door sill and we have 100k miles on it and it came with an 80k warranty. So I don't want to wait any longer. When my wife is driving I watch the recals and have to pinch myself to keep from saying anything. I don't wanna go through what happened last time I said something. It ended with something like "your not touching my car" blah blah blah something something something.

Ahh. Well in that case, have at it. Unless you can find pictures online, I assume you'll just have to open her up. Take some pics.

Got to the batteries finally. I thought I could get to them from the trunk. Nope, gotta get to them from behind the rear seat. I took pics but they are still on the camera. The camera is currently in the car taking a picture every 60 seconds for a time lapse. I have a current meter and a voltage meter as well as a clock radio set up for the camera to capture what happens over time.

Couple of observations so far.

One. The pack must not have that relay half way through the pack. With the breaker on I measured 151 volts. The car had not been driven since Tuesday. (4 days ago) The temp outside is around 50F.

Two. I have a 700ma charger and it went from 151 volts to 164 in 30 minutes. I know if I were to stop the charge it would probably sink back to 154 or something but it seemed to go up rather quickly.

No heat from the fan yet. Hopefully the time laps will show something. My phone crashes often.

So assuming I can get this thing balanced would it be advised to hook a 300 watt trouble light to the battery and drain it back down and charge it back up again? Maybe cycle it 2 or 3 times? If so, what resting voltage should I drain it down to?

Quick update. 167.8 volts in less than 3 hours. About 100ma. I probably should have set the voltage higher... maybe? I think I had it set at 172. I guess I feel OK letting it go overnight.

***update. I just checked and I had it set for 168.something. The time laps will be a fail. I cranked it up to 172ish.

Well? Here are the results. At 9:40pm I increased the voltage so thus the hick-up in the meters.

Time to drain it and try again.

Here is the hybrid stuff behind the back seat.
