Default Really need help,04 civic hybrid

I have an 04 civic hybrid and a while back had the check engine light come on, i bought a fault code reader and it brought up code P0404 (egr fault) so i replaced the egr and then used to reader to clear the fault code but as soon as i did there was a clicking from the trunk.

Now my car will not start and when i turn the ignition off some of the dash lights stay on although dimmer and my dome light flashes ?? if i plug my fault code reader in and put in on the live time function the car will start but very erratic.

I really need help, anyone got any ideas ??
