Default Looking for Gen-1 Service in MN

Hello!

I am new to InsightCentral, and I am trying to pour through topics as much as I can.

A few days ago a purchased an 04 MT with 240,000 miles on it, and drove it from Chicago to Minneapolis (350mi). The car runs fairly well, but doesn't take bumps well and has trouble between 10-20 mph.

I am wondering if someone here knows a good place to take in the short term and have it checked out. As I get more experienced I would like to do more myself, but I want to make sure it doesn't need work done soon.

Thanks for your help!

Try Brookdale Honda -- I know they service several Insights for owners in the area and they were pleasant to work with when they installed the (warranty replaced) IMA battery and EBH for my '02 MT.

Default Richfield-Bloomington Honda

Richfield-Bloomington Honda is excellent.

I have a 2000 Insight which is running well.

Thank you for the feedback! I am still not sure about taking my baby to the dealership, after a pretty bad experience, but maybe one of these places will be a bit more friendly.

Thank you!

The best (and most reliable) service that your car can get, is the service that you do yourself. Get help from this forum as needed.

If you do take the car to a dealer or independent mechanic, check back here for second opinions before they work on your car.
