Default Help- 00 Insight has gone through 4 IMA batteries in a year

Hello,

I went to hybrid battery repair for my refurb batts, and I've gone through 3 of his all with the same p1449 code. My last battery went out about a month after the one year warranty And I've only had roughly 3 months in the last year of problem free driving. What might be going on?

INFO-

00 INSIGHT, 200K MILES.

Also, where do you live at?(please add this to your signiture) I'm in Phoenix and the heat is brutal on these batteries. My refurbed battery failed with a P1449 code after 6 months when the temps here hit 115F. My battery is being fixed as we speak under warranty. Also, do you have a grid charger? With out a grid charger there is now way to keep these batteries healthy once the warranty runs out.

Eli's question is also very important, these batteries are prone to fail if not driven regularly.

CS,

You're still under warranty. Please call us.

A) your warranty is paused while we fix the battery, so you're not up to 1 year yet
B) We gave you a two year warranty
