Default Phantom P1445 code

I had an odd experience tonight. I went to start the car and instead of the nice quiet IMA start, I heard the unmistakeable sound of an actual starter as the engine slowly cranked and then caught. Was the first time I've heard that since I bought the car 125K miles ago.

Both the IMA and check engine lights were on and, when I pulled the codes, it showed a P1445 (bypass connector?).

However, after disconnecting the negative battery cable and EPS fuse and doing the battery relearn procedure, the car started on the IMA as if nothing had happened.

In case it is related, I've had 2 P1447 codes in the last 4K miles (one 4K ago and one 1.5K ago). In each case, I did the battery relearn to try and regain a bit of capacity and it cleared the code successfully each time.

P1445 is a problem with the bypass contactor. It is not related to your P1447 error at all. We sell them if you need one, but resolve your P1447 first.
