Default Frame lift points

The manual shows a lift point behind each front tire and in front of each rear tire. Is there a center point on the front that I can put a floor jack and lift the whole front? All the under side panels are still in place.

If you look under the car doors, there is a lift point in the center. This allows you to lift either the driver or passenger side wheels at the same time.

I think he wants to lift the front end all at once. There is no place I know of that is supportive enough, but I'll check tomorow.

Just jack it up from the oil pan.

....just kidding - DON'T DO THAT

I as well am not aware of anywhere in the center of the car that you can get the whole front or rear of the car off the ground from a single jack point. Willie - let us know if you find anything...

First vehicle I have owned that did not have a center front and rear point to jack.....how does everyone else get under the car? I assume I will need to lift the left side from the center point, add jack stands, then lift from the other side....I hope my jack will fit under the car. Other two vehicles are a 2002 Chevy avalanche 4x4 and 2011 Pilot 4x4...on both I don't need to jack, just slide a piece of cardboard under and slide under on that.

I drive mine up on Rhino Ramps if I just need to do an oil change. Fairly cheap and quicker than jacking up the front end of the car. I am pretty sure any standard hydraulic jack will fit under the Insight with no problems.

I use race ramps for oil changes now. The first oil change I did with a lift and it was pretty tedious and felt dangerous. To get anywhere near the height I needed it to be, I needed a working second jack. With the race ramps, I just drove it up, slid my creeper under, and did my business.
Ramps are also great because you can work on your suspension when it is naturally compressed by the weight of the car. Whatever little weight that is.
