Default Checked Transmission Fluid for CVT

I started the car today before going for a drive and checked the transmission dip stick.
The fluid on it was bubbly and not just fluid. While cold.
I cleaned it off and rechecked it again, the same bubbly fluid.
So I guess either I am low or I need to get it flushed and refilled.
Went for a drive and the shuddering was very minimal and got worse at it warmed up.
It shudders from a stand still until the start clutch is in and the car is moving, then everything is totally smooth and easy going. From what I researched it could be the starter clutch or possibly I just need a flush and fill with OEM CVT fluid?
Feel free to shoot pointers and things I can check for right now!

Thanks

Bubbles that aren't water are usually caused by overfilling. Look at the bubbles and see if they're air or water. If they're water, flush and change the fluid, run it a day or two and change it again. If it's air, let it sit overnight and check it cold. If the cold level is above the low mark, you have too much. If it's near the low mark, you probably have the wrong fluid in there. If it's not reaching the dip stick at all or is way below the low mark, you're way low on fluid and sucking in air.
