Default Battery not charging

I have a 2003 CVT with 135K. The battery is no longer charging and remains at a near full charge. Also, I am not getting acceleration assist from the battery. therefore, the acceleration from a full stop is very slow. Both the IMA and check engine light turned on today. The factory battery was replaced at the dealership when car had 90K miles. Before today the regernative braking appeared normal. Does anyone have an idea what my problem is and the likely cost to fix?

Take your car to a Honda dealer to read the diagnostic trouble code(s) that have caused the trouble lights to illuminate. If your car does not have a salvage title, the IMA system should still be under warranty, so you should not have to pay anything to have your IMA battery replaced which is likely causing the problems.

Then buy an IMA battery charger/balancer to use when you've parked your car for more than a few days without driving it. That can shorten the life of an IMA battery.
