Default 2001 Insight vibrating

I have a problem that is coming up with my 2001 Honda Insight. When I am driving and put the car into a gear that puts it into an rpm between 2 - 3k I can feel a vibrating throughout the car. When the load is taken off the engine and I level off the vibrating is gone. Clutch seems to be fine, shifting is good. Do they have u joints on the cars. Could that be my problem. Thanks for your help

Yep, i was thinking engine mount also. I need to crawl under and take a good look at mine because my engine is jumping around a bit when starting out in first gear.

My 2000 was doing the same. Dealer fixed the engine mount but a few months later started vibrating again. Dealer says there are multiple mounts, but since their 'fix' is to install a plate beneath, couldn't this fix come loose?? How many mounts are there?

Ok, not as in dinner plate!! haha.
What the dealer technical adviser explained was they installed some sheet metal, ie the "plate" underneath the engine to give it support rather than removing it to repair.

Yes, that's what I figured, but I've never heard of this fix. Did they perform this on your car? We would be greatful if you could take some pics, if so.
