Not really. But after reading it all again I'm pretty sure 'shorting the SCS to ground' is what we're doing when we jump the two pins on the OBD connector. In which case there is a procedure to follow that should clear the ABS blink code, starting on page 12:

1. With the ignition switch OFF, connect the HDS to the 16P data link connector (DLC) (A).
2. Short the SCS circuit to body ground using the HDS.
3. Press the brake pedal.
4. Turn the ignition switch ON (II) while continuing to press the brake pedal.
5. After the ABS indicator goes off, release the brake pedal.
6. After the ABS indicator comes on, press the brake pedal again.
7. After the ABS indicator goes off, release the brake pedal.
8. After a few seconds, the ABS indicator blinks twice and the DTC is cleared. If the indicator does not blink twice, repeat steps 1 thru 7 . If the ABS indicator stays on after it blinks twice, check the DTC, because a problem was detected during initial diagnosis before shifting to DTC clearing mode.
9. Turn the ignition switch OFF.
10. Disconnect the HDS from the DLC.

I'll try this probably tomorrow...

Success. I tried the above procedure, more or less, to erase my ABS blink code (61). And it worked. It took a few tries. Basically, you jump the two pins on the OBD connector, the ones that you normally jump to read the blink codes. Then, with your foot on the brake pedal, you turn the ignition on. The following happens very quickly: The ABS light comes on for a few seconds then goes out. Remove your foot from the brake. The ABS light will come on again. Put your foot back on the brake and when the light goes off take your foot off the brake. The ABS light will then blink twice. That's it, you're done.

Now we just need to find out what the EPS codes are (a full list would be nice) and how to clear them.

Interesting, didn't realize that those codes were stored in EEPROM.

I just clear them with the HDS.
