The people I bought the MT Insight from had the battery and the BCM replaced at their cost awhile back and they just didn't want to deal with another IMA issue and since they were moving across country, they wanted to just get rid of it and sell it cheap. I bought the car believing I could fix whatever needed to be fixed for the current problem because it had a low mileage engine replaced, newer batteries and some newer parts compared to my other Insights. That one fuse fixed the problem but I did not replace it in front of them
I recently put the Calpod IMA disable in my MT Insight using the clutch wire method but I also put in a relay inline powered from the brake pedal to automatically disable the mod when pressing on the brake pedal. That way, I still get regen and Auto Stop without having to flip the switch. So it adds a twist to the Calpod mod.

I haven't been in the forum often lately but do read some posts from time to time. Still working on some mods but they take a bit longer to do lately. Trying to combine CVT Low Speed Auto Stop, TPS mod to Transmision control module (TCM for CVTs) and ABS regen enable all onto one PCB. Got prototype working very well all last Spring, Summer and Fall. Just got to complete the circuit layout on new PCBs and make them. Like others, I need more than a 24 hour day
